Our beautiful Roman-style Bamboo shades can only be described as the sensible choice. Noted for their rich textures and beautiful colors they also help protect your home against penetrating heat and Winter air. Note: For inside mount, please order a shade that is smaller than the width of your window so that it fits inside your window or does not rub against the sides. It should be at least 1/4 of an inch smaller to ensure a proper fit. Not for outdoor use, it will mold in high humidity environment. Each shade comes with a Retro-fit kit recommended by the CPSC. The shades look pretty good while hanging. However, they really are only worth the $36 price, maximum. I have them hanging side by side, over my sliders, and one is much longer than the other when they are completely in the roll down position. Also, the noise that they make when you are pulling them up is excrutiating. It's worse than nails on a chalk board, and I shudder at the thought of pulling them up and down. I'm sorry that I didn't return them.

After much searching, I settled on these blinds. I am so glad I did. They are beautiful! I could not find any other place that sold bamboo blinds this size for cheaper. Plus, free shipping! Blinds were shipped quickly and nothing was broken or missing. The picture of what they look like is very accurate. They were fairly easy to install. They are not privacy blinds as you can see both ways through the blinds. If a light is on inside a room, you are able to see in from outside. My window openings were 70.5x70 and these blinds are 70x74. I bought these as I couldn't find 70x70. I was pleasantly surprised that they look great and have approx. 1/2 to 3/4 inch between the blind and the inside of the window. The only issue that I do not prefer about these blinds is the fact that mine squeak loudly when I pull the cord to lift the blinds. You also have to put a little bit of muscle into lifting as well, but this would not distract me from buying them again. Great buy considering I paid about 1/2 as much as other places were charging me!

Looked all over town for bamboo blinds similar to the ones we installed in our last house and was overjoyed to find that Top Blinds offers an immeasurable selection of styles AND sizes WITHOUT HAVING TO CUSTOM ORDER. We have close to 60 windows in our new house, and i am able to fit every one of them with one of the size options this vendor offers at a fraction of the cost of custom ordering. I ordered these bamboo shades because I wanted to have the wood look to accent the new wood windows I had installed. These shades look great and block enough of the sun to darken the room without fully blocking the sun. It is possible to see through the slits in the shades when looking outside but people are not able to see in. They were easy to install and have a nice honey tone to the bamboo with natural darker coloration in knots and bands which is normal for natural wood. I purchased one to make sure that it was satisfactory. Since I was so pleased I ordered them for my whole condo. The shades arrived in just a few days. I am well pleased with the purchase and have gotten positive comments on how good they look.
The bamboo shades even have a pleasant natural aroma. I recommend them highly.

I purchased three of these shades in large widths to block the sun on my patio in southern New Mexico. I like that they do a great job of filtering the light and heat without blocking the view. They look very nice also, and my son did a great job of installing them.
