good wood July 25, 2010 traillf (ovid mi usa) Board well made and serves its purpose to perfection. Will buy more items from Totally Bamboo.
Works just fine! May 28, 2010 hardyharhar (Downers Grove, Il) This is a great cutting board. I needed one that had a "drain" for juices and also a flat board. I only wish that I could have a bigger cutting board, but space does not allow it. It seems to be very easy on my knives, and I have taken the proper care to oil it once a week since getting it. It took me along time to find one, and I hated giving up my grandmothers warped cutting board, but I would recommend it to anyone looking for an all around good cutting board.
Bamboo: if it's a quick renewable resource, why the big price tag? May 22, 2010 M. Cervantes (Chicago, IL) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am a bit of a germ-a-phobe, so purchasing this product was a stretch for me. The oil is very necessary because this particular board is extra dry. I found another board at a discout store which I use at home and this one I took to work where it spends most of it's day stored away. I like using it for making my sandwhiches ( I don't cut tomato on it) and when we bring in bagels or some such snack but for nothing more. It's an okay product but not for everyday use.

Knife edges won't dislike this cutting board. Durable, washes well, and looks sleek. Great buy.
Terrific cutting board February 3, 2010 Rachelle M. Shaw (IN USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I got this cutting board as a gift to my mother for Christmas. I had a friend who bought it a couple of years ago, and she absolutely loved hers. The soft bamboo makes for minimal wear and tear on knives, but it's also very durable. The groove along the edges is also a plus for catching any juices.
