Love using these knives! Stays sharp for a long time, too. August 4, 2010 Douglas Waski (Boise, ID USA) We bought these to replace the RR knife that mysteriously disappeared from our house a while back. We loved that knife and didn't hesitate to get this two-knife set with bamboo case.
These knives have great balance and grip, so you never have to worry when working with slippery/greasy food items. The blade stays impressively sharp for quite a while. We've had these for almost a year, and they still slice tomatoes with ease! The scallops help keep the food from sticking to the blade, so you don't have to wipe food from the blade after each cut. They clean up easily and maintain their bright, attractive finish with no corrosion.
These knives also come with an attractive bamboo case to keep the knives, and your kitchen, neat and tidy.
I don't know if Rachel Ray or any other professional chef actually uses these, but these knives are the best we've owned, and are noticeably better than other "lifetime guaranteed" knives. Highly recommended!
Works great for me! December 29, 2009 Meridae (Florida) I got these knives for Christmas and have used them several times since then. The edges were extremely sharp right out of the box (the box is very nice btw). The handles grip easily and I never feel like they are going to slip out of my hand. I would definitely recommend these knives - even with the bright orange grips! They are a great value and awesome knife.
They break & Rachel won't reimburse you. December 1, 2009 Jocelyn R. Mahoney (Minneapolis) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was a wedding gift. I love Rachel and her show and didn't hesitate to ask for her knives. Well the metal busts right off at the handle. It was all rusted inside too. What in the world? I've never had this happen. I thought knives were solid metal, how do they break off during cutting onions? I have emailed everyone from here to the sun to try to get my money back. These are expensive and nobody will reimburse me because I don't have a receipt. My wedding was awhile ago and I never got a receipt as they were a gift. I even emailed Rachel Ray and her show and anyone involved with her and still no word.
Makes cooking so easy October 25, 2009 Sewing Nut (Missouri) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
These knives are fantastic. They cut through anything I have tried so far and are comfortable to use. The box is a bit hard to open but that is minor. I am getting rid of my old knives that were so hard to use.
Very nice October 1, 2009 Theresa M. Routh (luvgardening) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Wow is an understatement! When the knives I'm replacing these with were new, they didn't cut like these do. I had carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand just over a month ago. But using these knives? It didn't hurt cutting up an onion. I hope the sharpness lasts so I can continue to be impressed.
