I bought this along with a book and rice cooker to give my boyfriend for a present. We've made sushi a few times now, and this roller is really all you need to create perfectly good rolls, even if you've never rolled sushi before. The price is nice, and it does exactly what it is meant to do. No need to buy some expensive kit.

I got a late start on Christmas and ordered a sushi bowl, mat and paddle only one week before the big day. I was surprised and delighted to find it all arrived by Tuesday of the following week using standard shipping. The products are a big hit with my wife who loves to entertain and does a great job making sushi for family and friends. If you're a sushi adventurist, I highly recommend this product.

It took almost three weeks to receive this item which gave me the time to look around and I even found it cheaper locally and bought it as my party was planned two weeks after my initial Amazon purchase. Would never buy from this vendor again, appears he/she does not have items in stock and is a broker. Wasted my time and money.

I've not made sushi with this mat yet, but it looks great and seems more sturdy than my used mat. This is great to have and I love that it comes with a rice spoon. Both peices smell fantastic and I'm going to recommend these to friends when I teach them to make sushi!

For such a low price, you simply can't go wrong. Its well-made, with a nice wooden paddle. This was exactly what I wanted for an extremely reasonable price.
