Amazon.com Review Named for its weblike design, this spider skimmer from Helen's Asian Kitchen line is a handy, versatile tool for any food that needs quick draining. Crafted from rustproof stainless steel, the skimmer is sturdy and lightweight with a rounded shape that keeps hold of dumplings, wontons, and raviolis. Its netted design drains oils and water quickly and efficiently for better cooking results, and its bamboo handle is comfortable and heat-resistant. Measuring 5 inches in diameter, the skimmer is safe in the dishwasher for easy cleanup. A 7-inch version is also available. --Emily Bedard

Great Spider August 30, 2010 Robert Ballantyne Great Spider, this is an excellent value. The handle is nice and wide so it does not try and turn over on you when you are extracting the food.
Handy August 21, 2010 Nana Deb (Michigan) Great item to have around. Much better than a slotted spoon. I debated about getting the bigger sized basket but I think the bigger size would have been too big for some pots.
Very Sturdy, Just What I Needed! July 30, 2010 BankerDave The product arrived as listed! I have already used it once and it worked out great. I have a few plastic spiders in my kitchen already, but you can't use them for fried foods, as they will melt. I would suggest this product to anyone!
Great July 26, 2010 C. Li (Los Angeles, CA) No complaints here. This skimmer works great and is pretty sturdy. Easy to use and clean.
Great kitchen tool July 13, 2010 D. R. Smith I bought this when I saw Alton Brown use one on TV. You don't just have to use this for frying, I used it to scoop out boiling ravioli and it was a cinch to use. I love it.
